Grestone Academy is part of the Hamstead Hall Academy Trust.

Butterfly’s initial brief was to create a logo/badge design to be used across school, from stationery
to signage.  This needed to incorporate a lion as the main focal point to provide a visual link to the school’s mission statement of P.R.I.D.E. - Perseverance Respect Independence Diversity Excellence.

We wanted to project a modern visual identity so our solution was to create their minimal lion icon, which uses only straight lines.

We feel that this striking, individual design provides a memorable identity that will stand the test of time and we look forward to seeing the motif standing proud at Grestone for many years to come.
